We’re pleased to share an update on a project we’ve featured before, which is now approaching completion.
As a reminder, the scheme involved a number of interesting — and at times challenging — elements, including:
– Sloped ground to be retained
– Structure following ground in steps
– Timber frame, masonry cavity wall, slab, block and beam, web joists, retaining walls…a bit of everything
– Underfloor heating
– Internal glass floor
– High insulation spec
– Tanking for structure, waterproofing for green roof
– Traditional / modern elevations – combination stonework + cladding and big windows
– Green roof to return the green area occupied by the building footprint
